3 Tips for a Happy New (Pain Free) Year!

Happy Pain Free
Happy Pain Free New Year!
Hi [fname],

New Years Day is just days ahead. Most folks are reviewing the year gone by, reflecting and planning what they are going to focus on in the coming year! How about you?

Do you feel like you are cruising into 2015 all eager and excited with a whole new set of goals and dreams? Or are you…

  • still struggling with some pain in your life that is an ongoing thing year after year?
  • frustrated that you are being limited in different ways and not being able to enjoy life as fully because of this pain?
  • feeling like on the surface your life ‘looks’ great but on the inside something feels SO off?

Here are 3 simple tips to help ease your pain:

  1. Daily Reboot Time- Instead of just jumping out of bed and into your day, take 5 minutes to ‘REBOOT’. Disconnect from the outside chaos and go within and quiet your mind. Breathe. Get Still. When you get still, your body is relaxed, your mind is relaxed, your muscles relax and the pain intensity becomes less too. A 5-minute daily practice will go a long way. Consistency is key!
  2. Daily“Mental/Emotional” shower- incorporate cleansing your mind, heart, heavy emotions as part of your daily hygiene. Just as you shower in the morning to clear out and freshen up, take time to clear out worries, doubts so you feel light and free. In the evening, before you head to bed, like an evening shower, clear out the stresses of the day. This way, every night, you allow yourself a restful sleep, which is crucial to your health and well being. You also start your morning with a peaceful mindset.
  3. Self Care - It is NOT a NOBLE thing to put yourself LAST! Take care of YOU! What do you want? what’s fun for you? What are your needs? How are you fulfilling your creative needs? DO NOT IGNORE YOUR NEEDS! Take time to do things that feel good and nurture you. Invest in getting help when necessary. When you feel good, everything works better - your health, your relationships, your work!

Remember, your pain is simply a message from your body. It’s more about what’s going on INSIDE of you. So instead of focusing on getting rid of your pain, understand that your pain is telling you about what’s happening within you- mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Take time to release and let go of all those feelings of dis-ease and and the old emotional conflicts within! When you can feel ease, joy, peace and calm WITHIN from day to day, your body will return to its natural flow and pain-free rhythm too.

So let’s get going! Why wait another day to live a pain-free life? The right time is NOW!
Here’s wishing you a Happy (Pain Free) New Year!
