Magical September is here!

It all feels magical as I was in California from September 1-9th, attending Morgana Rae’s Destination Retreat Blueprint Workshop in Dublin, Oakland, USA learning all tips, tricks and secrets to running high end destination transformational retreats around the world. I have attended so many amazing retreats and I can’t wait to run my own transformational retreat in 2015 called Divine Manifestation Retreasmiliet focused on how to align with your desires and create the life you want.

The trip to California became more fun and juicier as my friends from college in California organized a mini college reunion while I was there, including picnicking at Crissy Fields and driving down for a day to Napa Valley!
To add to the magic, a day after I landed back home in Bangkok, September 10th, I got interviewed by Mindvalley and they are inviting me (all expenses paid trip) to their headquarters in Malaysia to do 3 different video shoots of my teachings for their TV Channel that they are launching in 20smilie15 that will then be aired to their subscribers of  millions.

So I want to check in with you and ask you, what are you doing to live the life you want? In this month’s featured article (below), I share an interesting personal experience that might be worth a read to learn some mistakes people make that keep them from their dreams!

To your continued success!

Why holding on to "stuff" is costing you your dreams!

Hi!

Carrying Too Much
Are You Carrying Too Much?

On March 16, 2014, I was flying back to Bangkok after attending the Transformational Authors Retreat in Baltimore, USA. A half hour or so after the fight took off, I needed I needed to use the lavatory and realized the flush was not working! I informed the flight attendant of the problem and she guided me and other passengers to other lavatories till they fixed this one.

A short while after, there was an announcement from the Captain that our airplane had a problem. Apparently the sewage tanks of the plane were not unloaded before take off from the Washington DC airport. Since now the sewage tanks were full, and no one could use any lavatory, and we had still only covered only 20% of the journey, we would have to make an emergency landing to unload the tanks! He added that since the plane’s fuel tank was also rather full, the plane would be too heavy to land! Therefore, the plane now needed to first dump a lot of the fuel in mid air otherwise it would be dangerous to land the plane!

This incident reminded me of the similarity in how most of us lead our lives. We carry so much "stuff" with us unconsciously as we go through the journey of life. Sometimes, we consciously ignore the stuff hoping it will go away on its own, or we consciously push it back hoping it will not show up!  We only stop to do something when we reach a crisis point and it then take emergency actions!

The cost of not "offloading" the past "crap" had lots of negative impacts for the airlines:

  • endangering the lives of so many men, women, children!
  • wasted expensive fuel that needed to be thrown away in mid-air
  • peace of mind of passengers
  • loss of time for all
  • extra costs incurred for now taking extra care of tired, angry, hungry, frustrated passengers
  • inconveniences of delayed flights, re-routing passengers,
  • the reputation of the airliner
  • extra work coordinating with different airlines
  • expense for overnight stay for some passengers
  • dip in the client happiness scale…and so much more…

I want to ask you:

  • what are you holding on to that you need to let go?
  • What are you tolerating that you are no longer willing to tolerate?
  • What are you waiting for before you take action?
  • Which dreams are "on hold", because you are "holding on" to stuff?
  • What is costing you in time, energy, money to stay stuck with that heavy load?
  • What is costing friends, family, significant others because you are not "offloading"?
  • How long will you wait before you are forced into emergency actions?

Truth is that when you "hold on" to unnecessary stuff, you "hold off" your dreams!
When you "let go" and "offload" that heavy unnecessary "stuff",  you create space within for your dreams and desires to have a space to land!

I believe we are meant to live a life full of fun and meaning and purpose and that opportunity and potential is there for each and everyone. But it’s a choice each one has to make! So what will you choose? Is it time? Will you step up to your dreams?

Life is short so don’t wait forever! And if you tired of being stuck and are ready and willing to be open and honest with yourself and willing to invest in your dreams but just don’t know how?, I’m here to support you! Testimonial

"Being a mother of two toddlers I found myself very impatient and frustrated and noticed I was using the same high pitch laden phrases my mother used to say to me that I didn’t like to hear. I realized I was stuck in a pattern and needed to change this so I could have a loving supportive v relationship with my children.

After working with Shalini, I feIt such relief, like a brick wall had been knocked down, weights lifted off my shoulders and I literally felt lighter. I was able to make peace with my childhood and my mother. Also, I was able to learn tools to deal with my daily stresses, to help me refocus and see the positivity in every situation. I find I can stay calm around my kids. Also, instead of stewing in the car about being stuck in traffic or angry that the plumber didn't show up, I release the negativity and within minutes I find that I'm alright with the world and the world is alright with me. Thanks Shalini!"
